Thanks for the prounouncation tip. I was able to get the recording to sound almost the same. It is barely perceptible unless you are looking for it. I should have the file ready soon.

Peter,

When I recorded I used the word "desiring." Do you think I should attempt to re-record the word or the phrase containing the word and edit it in? I will try it and see if it sounds decent. If I can't get it to flow smoothly, what do you think I should do?

It seems there is some confusion about the errors I posted. Maybe I can clear it up. 1. The word "deigning" is not a word I know. I think that it should be "desiring." 2. I think that "assault at battery should be "assault and battery." 3. The text I copied looks l...

Chapter 7 1. But, at the end of a few minutes, he had the disagreeable impression that he was being followed. Without deigning to pursue the fugitive, the new arrival stooped over the prostrate man and inquired: Without desiring to pursue the fugitive, the new arrival stooped over the prostrate man...

@ a.r. dobbs I would be glad to help with the errors, but I am not sure exactly what you would like me to do. Your post just seems a tad confusing.

Also, like Anita mentioned, I am starting another Arsene Lupin project. Please come and volunteer!!

I hope you will record it Xander. I tell you, it's one of those things I would actually like to hear many many times. It's something I'd like to learn ... I love this old phrase: learn by heart ... by listening to a different reader every day. You have convinced me. I will record an English version...

You might want to test your setup before you record to make sure the volume and everything is correct. That is all I can think of really. Go ahead and get started. I would love to hear the way you read this. It's always nice to hear a new voice and the way that the person interprets the text.

What I have posted already is only the first 1000. Now that I think about it, 1 million seems very, very far away. I think I was dropping some zeros in my mental calculations. This project seems a little overwhelming now. Maybe I will end this project at 4000 or 5000. I would be happy for you ...

Does this mean you will record aaar or that you want to coordinate the 2nd million prime numbers? Either way it seems good to me!! I think that I would like to try to coordinate an actual book next instead of just a list of numbers.

When I was recording my section I noticed that the PG text had quite a few errors. Most of the time with misspellings but there was also a repeated paragraph. I went ahead and made the changes as I thought they should be. Is this OK?
