Re: [Weekly Poem*]The Listeners by Walter De La Mare - dl

Thank you MaryAnn, there is one mis-read you may wish to correct, at 0:27 you read "Is anybody there?" he said. text reads "Is there anybody there?" he said. Actually the text reads "Is anybody there?" - "Is there anybody there?" is how people like I r...

Re: [FULL] The Winter's Tale by William Shakespeare - dlo

It's scattered throughout. I supposed there'd be a final DPL of the whole play. That's when anything (if present) should come to light. It's only sound values, no textual changes.

Re: [FULL] The Winter's Tale by William Shakespeare - dlo

Act Four slightly fiddled about with (mostly occasional volume shifts).

Otherwise everything's fine.

Re: [FULL] The Winter's Tale by William Shakespeare - dlo

4:4 is PLOK also easy on the ear if you like your ear candy crazy. We may do anything extempore, as Autolycous observes and it shows. That cacophony of voices in the party scene is well just like a party. (Never go to them myself.) And rather wonderfully Tomas talking to himself as Camillo and Flori...

Done that. Yea that sounds more natural and better. So that's 3 PLOK and all swell.

Re: [FULL] The Winter's Tale by William Shakespeare - dlo

Don't think you need that Shepherd Aside, but it doesn't matter. "You shall help to put him in the ground." That was cute. Fine little Solo Craig had going there, Antigonus into Shepherd. All the better for it. Interesting point about a crazy Bohemia Tomas made. All these pastoral scenes (...

Re: [FULL] The Winter's Tale by William Shakespeare - dlo

That's a great funny accent you put on when you're pretending to be a man, Sonia. I did like the interplay between Tomas and me the best, not least because there wasn't any. And we're not at all alike, whatever women say. Couldn't think of anything I wanted to change, except for the relationship bet...

Re: [FULL] The Winter's Tale by William Shakespeare - dlo

Haven't had a chance to listen this through as I have to keep to the dinner gong (so to speak). It sounded alright stage by stage though.

Re: [FULL] The Winter's Tale by William Shakespeare - dlo

I'm trying Act One Scene Two to see if I can do it and it seems to be going OK. So I'll claim that one officially, then see. Good luck to all.
