Many many many admin team or non-admin team librivoxers are very industrious. I in fact felt lots of them were just like long-time friends by listening to their readings long before I signed up in this forum. Not so many listeners would have a chance to know librivoxers working behind the stage like...

anna's so very cute

Umm, Anna from the Netherlands...... Never listened to any of her recordings(did I miss them?), but saw her friendly posts everywhere; Her dedicating to proof-listening is quite impressive; one can easily feel the generosity and warmth from her posts, too. She must be a nice person with a cheerful pe...

Adding a short Chinese summary for Liaozhai zhiyi. I am still on a biz trip and don't have much time for reading now.

I’d love him to be name as geniecode(forum name) and Bc(catalog name). Poem name: Alwatan (mean...

Aww, you are surely fast, David, though that story doesn't sound really funny to me.

p.s.

I have to be away for a couple of weeks or two.
Will still work on my shares in the two parallel projects when having time.

Good lucks to all!

The only reason I didn't do it straight away last night is that it's a big job. I thought if I could avoid it, I would. Uh, Is it? Anyways, if there is anything I can help, please tell me. I don't mind spending time on this book at all. Personally, I am making footnotes of every Giles' story and it...

About the footnotes, I thought it was quite complicated...
Nice, I would just follow your example then :D :D

Oh, that's a good question and something we really need to deal with before hitting the road! The English text we read from is the 1916 version of Giles' translation scanned and uploaded to Internet by independent scholar Todd Compton. The original contents of that book written by Giles is, of cours...

Thanks for agreeing on PL my Mandarin, Jc! Hugs.... Among the first twenty, the "Planting A Pear-Tree 卷1 種梨" and the "Mr. Chu, The Considerate Husband 卷2 祝翁" are the shortest but equally interesting and very beautifully written in Chinese. The 祝翁 is a wonderfully weird romantic s...

Thanks for signing up, Sunny and Walker. You two are too sweet, Hugs~~:9: I am really glad to have you both as Named friends rather than the Numbered Knots! We've got so many to read, and the Chinese speakers are still very rare here! Walker has read the very first Liaozhai story in Cantonese for us...
