Re: Short Nonfiction Collection 010

Would it be OK to post an article in Dutch for this collection? I recorded a very interesting article (from PG) on a visit some geologists made to Krakatoa not long after the major eruption in 1883. Kind regards Ernst Pattynama Hi Ernst.. could I have a link to the text? Unless the article is terri...

Before realising Alana was DPL, I've just listened to section 6 and it is perfect.

James's voice and delivery suit the piece wonderfully too...

Thanks, David.. I'm sure Alana doesn't mind!

The links seem okay, Sam. I've got a copy of each on my computer, too. I put the proof-listening for this off for too long, and I apologize for that. Now I'm crunched for time, but I will get the rest of your files proof-listened. As you've probably read for the third time now, I've been very busy w...

I'm sorry for falling behind on this. My internet connection has been down (which was mostly my fault.. fiddling with things I shouldn't've been). And my free time has been sucked away by my new job.

But I have some free time this weekend, so I will catalog this one along with your other ones, Sam.

I'm terribly sorry for falling behind on this. I've had problems with my internet connection, and got hit with lots of overtime at my new job besides.

But everything is fixed now, and I have some free time this weekend, so I WILL get started on this as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience.

I'm terribly sorry to everyone for falling behind on this. I've had problems with my internet connection, and got hit with lots of overtime at my new job besides. Jc, thank you very much for proof-listening those sections. You were not overstepping your bounds by any means. I'll try to listen to all...

Thanks for proof-listening, Lomond!

I think this may have originally been a lengthy pamplet. That may explain the lack of paragraphs. It wouldn't be so hard on the eyes, or the mind, if the text was broken up by lots of small pages.

Thanks for checking in, Vivian (and Megan). The choice is ultimately yours on the typos (or rather, speakos :D), but if it doesn't change the meaning of the sentence, and it would be difficult for you to correct it, it's perfectly fine to leave it as is.

Karen,
I don't think Anita's server will go offline till this Friday, the 31st. But PaulW has downloaded a back-up of all the files in ceastman's folder.

At long last, we've found the missing links! (Sorry, couldn't help myself).

LOL Actually, that was me marking my mistakes. I tap the microphone because it creates a spike in the recording and makes it so much easier to see where I mess up instead of listening to the whole recording. (which is tiring sometimes) :D That's a good idea in general, but tapping your mic like tha...
