Re: Books and babies: Communicating reproduction

What would you do if you lived in the plains of Texas where it is over 100 degrees more than half of the time in the summer, and air conditioning hadn't been invented yet???
But recording would be ever so much quieter!

"in the town of [split second pause] C," I'd really like to visit Blankshire some day. or Blankington... You could go with Mr. Blank! You might get some blank looks from the inhabitants, though. No one goes with him , because he's always saying blankity-blank. I believe this is one for the ...

Portuguese: Bahia

I need the pronunciation of Bahia. I'm not sure if I need the European or the Brazilian, but I'll take either one. The context is an American seaman relating the meeting of a ship, "from Bahia, bound to Calcutta." http://encyclopedia.thefreedictionary.com/Bahia#cite_note-0 Thanks. ETA: I could also ...

Re: H2 Zoom Users - I need your feedback

It's in the settings. It disables the the mic gain feature; depending on whether your audio is too loud or too soft, it will boost the low audio and compress the loud. I don't know whether or not it does anything to the audio itself, just that is how I would describe the effects. That was very clums...

Has anyone ever used the ag-comp feature to record for lv? I've used it for a round table discussion type thing, but never audio books.

In my opinion, it gives it a rather homey feel, as if an older relative is reading to you. Though I myself tend to be more partic...
