Re: [SOLO] Visions and Revisions by John Cowper Powys-ag

Nice idea, I didn't know very little about DEVO I don't recall they were brothers. I don't see there stuff in the cd store much either. I think I'd most...

Re: [SOLO] Visions and Revisions by John Cowper Powys-ag

It was great to finally get another chapter finished, recorded it a while ago, infact i did two, but the slog is always editing them. I wish I knew how to speak them better, ideally I think the finished product should be a rehearsal and after that I should listen to it everyday for a week on my iPod...

Thanks Grant,

I hadn't had time to look at it, so thanks for doing that, first section done. It feels like we're making progress. Let me know if you want to keep doing that otherwise i'm happy to do so.

Re: [SOLO] Visions and Revisions by John Cowper Powys-ag

Many Thanks Amy,

No I didn't have any lined up. Do people need any particular experience to be proof listeners? I might ask a friend who has done some reading and covers before for librivox.

Re: Are solos more listener friendly than group projects?

I've got to say, I read more than I listen to Librivox. But I think it really depends, multireader books do have the danger of having a chapter where you can't understand or the sound quality is very poor, but solo can be a bit monotonous and if you don't like the reader then you're stumped. I have ...

Re: [FICT] Thomas Wingfold, Curate by George MacDonald - tg

Thank you! No, I don't mind, as long as you check previous posts to make sure no one claimed it before you - which in this case no one has. :) ... Section 58 - in stereo; should be mono. I'll fix it. Section 61 - this one is in mono, but the volume is about 5.5-6 dB too low. :) I'll fix it. Ta daa!...
