Re: [PSYCHOLOGY]The Major Symptoms of Hysteria by Pierre Janet -jo

One note for section 3 - please include the author's name in the intro.
You're right, this does dovetail rather nicely with Mattia Pascal. I had been thinking of Lourdes, but it aligns with Mattia Pascal as well.

Re: [SOLO] Wild and romantic: Early guides to the English lake district

Please don't say you got carried away writing the summary. It's always nice to have enough info to go on when I'm picking out the next thing to listen to, but as a BC it's something I ALWAYS struggle with. I think, 'dear listener, it's poetry by a forgotten author, you know perfectly well why you're...

Re: SOLO Nada the Lily by H. Rider Haggard-ans

Cool! I'll go check in on that thread. I can't for the life of me remember if I told you about this last year, but on Soundcloud there's a recording (about an hour and a half) of Neil Gaiman reading A Christmas Carol. If you're feeling festive! https://booksbird.wordpress.com/2018/12/19/175-years-of...

Re: SOLO Nada the Lily by H. Rider Haggard-ans

One note for chapter 22: 6.03-6.08, end last full para p. 179, repetition …he hated me he hated me because I had crossed his will… Wow, I can see why you would prefer to use software that made it 'immediate'. Working with Audacity, I'm just happy to have any bonus features it sees fit to include! In...

Hi Pam,

Section 9 is PL OK. Smallpox carries off another victim and shifts the course of history.

Re: Solo - On a Grey Thread - Elsa Gidlow - dl

Thank you so much, Pam! It's been a pleasure to work with you.

David, I think Ms Gidlow can go to the catalogue! I've updated the summary, genres and keywords in the first post.

Re: Solo - On a Grey Thread - Elsa Gidlow - dl

Hi Pam, Yeah, it's gone faster than I imagined! On that note, the Yeats is up: https://forum.librivox.org/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=77365 David - I've edited the first post to include a short summary, a new genre and a couple of keywords. This is what the new and improved info should look like: On a Grey...

Re: [solo] - The Wind Among the Reeds - Yeats

The wonderful pnagami has very kindly consented to act as DPL.

I'll keep the full disclaimers on the first and final poems, but for everything in between I've shortened it to the poetry intro/outro.

Re: SOLO Nada the Lily by H. Rider Haggard-ans

Chapters 16 and 17 are spot PL OK, and chapter 20 is PL OK. One note for chapter 21: 13.44-13.51, end first para p. 173 At the least, he turned his head [heard hand] aside, shut his eyes, and groaned. Your son did a better job than anything I would have been able to manage in Audacity, but a reverb ...
