Eva, thank you so much!
I'm just sitting down to record the rest of the sections. I'll hopefully have time to edit a few more soon too.

Re: [SOLO] - City of Din by Dan McKenzie - kiki

aw, thank you so much!
it took a good while to edit all the barks around that section, so I'm glad it was worth it!
I hope you are doing well, Eva

Re: [SOLO] - City of Din by Dan McKenzie - kiki

there we go! 3 sections added for PL. for section 2, it was such a funny coincidence that my dog started barking right around the section where the author is going on about a dog-barking scenario! so I kept some of that in where the text called for it. it seemed much more fun that me just reading th...

Re: Unexpected shout out

That makes me think we should concentrate on reading children's books on LV so we encourage this trend and get them off the damned phones and Internet ... ...but Librivox is part of the internet isn't it, eh? and very accessible on phones too. (I guess a larger part of your point is what we mean by...

Re: [SOLO] - City of Din by Dan McKenzie - kiki

I am sitting down to record some more of this right now!
apparently I also have to re-download Audacity cuz it's been so long and my harddrive crashed a few months back.
it may still be a while before I have new sections edited for upload, but I want to get this done this year. wish me luck.

doesn't GarageBand still come with the Mac OS? I used that when I had a macbook a while back. a littlw tricky to set up for LV but it worked quite well.

Re: [SOLO] - City of Din by Dan McKenzie - kiki

I've gotten very behind on this, but I'm still alive and thinking about it. my laptop crashed in October and needed a brand new harddrive. thank goodness for backups-- I only lost two days of work things.

next week my semester will be all over, so I'll make time to catch up on recording this.

drat, I forgot about that one. I think I'd better leave it for someone else-- midterms are approaching and my schedule might get a bit overwhelming. thanks for the reminder, sorry to back out, etc.
