Re: ~FULL: Sweethearts by W.S. Gilbert - al

Hi Arielle

She was right. I'll pick it up if you want. I assume it's the stage directions etc as I can't see an actual part for a narrator

Cheers, Chris

Re: New Adventures of Alice by John Rae (dramatic reading) -

Hi Elley

I'd like to read the following if I may (in order of preference, if you'd rather I didn't read all of them):

Snipe (2, 4, 5)
Johnny Stout (6)
The Peevish Printer (3)

Thanks, Chris.

Re: [COOKERY] A Guide to Modern Cookery by A Escoffier - rg

Thanks Ruth - that's very helpful. I had no idea it was so complicated! This seems to imply that I *can* read Rice Burroughs et al, with minimal risk of being clapped in irons. That's great news. Can I suggest that it would be worth changing the boilerplate that goes on new projects with this copyri...

Re: ~FULL: Sweethearts by W.S. Gilbert - al

Here's PL notes for sections recorded so far: Ruth (Elizabeth): PL OK Spreadbrow (Algy): PL OK but rather loud (93.5dB). Would be good if you could take down the volume of both acts by 3-4 dB Wilcox (Bellona): A couple of stumbles: 03:45 “Miss” for “Please” 06:05 “In flushed up as he stuck his spurn...

Re: [COOKERY] A Guide to Modern Cookery by A Escoffier - rg

Hello Ruth Yes - I DID get excited - briefly :( I found most of what you refer to when I dug into this previously. Since I took at face value the citations putting him in authorship in the early C19, I concluded (though it seemed bizarre) that there were two JBH Jrs, The one having set up the founda...

Hi Arielle

Do you need a DPL for this, or are you doing it yourself?

Thanks, Chris.
