How to make files smaller

Hi! I just recorded a line for a dramatic work and the size is 227 kb and the request was that it be 128. How do I make the file smaller?

Thanks! :D

Hi Elli! I'm sorry I'm taking so long! I did the recordings, but then our computer broke so they are lost. :( I will try to get them to you ASAP.

Re: [Kids] Children's Short Works Coll Vol. 018 - avs

btw, for my books I will read Sections 2 and 3. Also, could I read a Beatrix Potter story for Section 4? They are Gutenberg, so I think they are in the public domain. :D

Frances Brown will be fine for the catalog! As for the recording, here it is:

Re: [OPEN] (Children) History Plays for the Grammar Grades -

Thanks a bunch Maria! Sorry to keep bugging you, but I made the test recording on Audacity and tried to upload it, but it saved as .aup instead of .mp3. The wiki link just said it would automatically save it as an .mp3 but....

Thanks again, :D

Re: [OPEN] (Children) History Plays for the Grammar Grades -

Just one more question:

Is the "speaker" in more than one part? I read through some of it and it seemed like he/she was.

Re: [OPEN] (Children) History Plays for the Grammar Grades -

Hi! I was wondering if i could read for: Fourth Boy, Boy and Speaker?

This is one of my first recordings, so let me make sure of somethings:
I record each line separately
I leave a 5 second pause after each line

Thanks!

Frances :D

Re: [Kids] Children's Short Works Coll Vol. 018 - avs

Hi Aravis! I am really new here so this would be my first recording! I'm SOO excited! :D Could I read "The Selfish Giant" and "The Remarkable Rocket"? They are from this website: http://www.gutenberg.org/catalog/world/readfile?fk_files=1559791&pageno=3 Just to be sure, are these in the public domain...
