Re: Oh Horrors!!

Downloading does not seem to work on my iPad, I guess it will give me an opportunity to catch up on some reading I 'need' to get done. Chores, what chores? I have laundry to put away, my shoes and blankets are spread throughout my room, my saddle needs cleaning, I have homeschool projects to...

Hope it's ok - in which case I can go and conveniently die offstage while all the excitement is going on

Re: What made you choose your nickname?

I chose mine from one of the characters in my favourite children's book, Elizabeth Goudge's The Little White Horse - it is a lovely story and one of the many non-PD books that I'm sorry not to be able to record here (it would make such a great dramatic reading, too ... sigh).

Re: Help me understand how to use the forums/message boards.

I'm also new, and I click on the "View your posts" link on the right hand side, nearish to the top of the screen - not in the topmost light blue header, in the white part under it, below the date and time. I have also asked for notifications on some topics and and bookmarked others to keep track of ...

Re: [group] The Story Teller by Maude Lindsay - phi

I'd love to read some more of this delightful book: could I please have sections 06 and 09? (or one of them, if that's a bit greedy!)

Re: DRAMA: Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare - al

I think Lady Montague is missing from the MW - she's in 1.1 though she only speaks twice! If you are putting her in, can I read the part please?

Thank you Loveday. I am SO glad you enjoyed it and will put it into the Magic Window for proof listening. Of course I may take a peek to hear the singing because I know it will be just wonderful.  You certainly have caught on to the process here very quickly. Aha, I have been watch...

Please could I read section 14, Additional Rules in Respect to the Social Relations?
I particularly love the bit about lending and asking to borrow books :)

Re: ~[group] The Story Teller by Maude Lindsay - phi

For my first ever LibriVox contribution - please may I read section 05 - Little Maid Hildegarde?
I may well have a go at singing the lullaby - if it's ok for me to transpose it down a notch for my vocal comfort zone.
(I have had the OK on my one-minute test.)

Hello! I'm new

Hello :D I live near Oxford in England and I'm really looking forward to volunteering at Librivox because I've always loved audiobooks (but never thought I would get the chance to participate in reading one). I'm still finding my way around the forums and guides and trying to get a sense of everythi...
