Re: PL or DPL?

Thank you. At 72 my mind does not work as fast and good as it used to. I watched those and am re-watching them. I can still hear ( sort of) and I can still tell when there are repeats and things like that but a low level hiss is left up to the charts in Audacity and the Checker. I will probably have...

Re: How to tell if a project has a Dedicated Proof Listener(

I live in the Philippines and when I post something it takes a day for me to get an answer ( like volunteering). Do I have to wait until I get an okay before I listen to a recording?

What is the difference between a PL and a Dedicated PL? Are they the same thing?

Re: Recording level?

After paying to upgrade Winzip and removing Nokia suite from my computer for now, I went back to my downloads and .93 had become an executable file. I then opened it and it seems to be working. Now I must check to see if I still have both copies on the computer. I think the old .98 is gone but I am ...

Recording level?

I kept seeing the figure 89db around for the level you are looking for. How do I know where to find that in audacity? I cannot find an average level number anywhere. All I have is the ones that go from -1 to +1. Also where can I download an audacity help manual to print out? The only one I can find ...

Hiw many books?

I am wondering how many books you have read and listened to before you felt like you really knew what you were doing.
I have done my poem and am beginning on a short story. I still don't feel like I really understand all about this system. I learn something every day.

Re: Listener devices?

I have found that being here in the Philippines it usually takes a long time to get an answer in the early afternoon. All those in the UK are working or just not online yet and those in the US are still sleeping. It seems the early morning and the evening are the best time to do anything. Now I have...
