Re: ~[FICTION] My Lady Ludlow by Elizabeth Gaskell-neb

Oh, I am glad the reading was okay! Now, how do you know that isn't an Arkansas accent? Lol! Let's just say that it was really important to my mother that my sister and I have as little accent as possible. I am a little intrigued, though. Have you spent time near our Tornado Alley? Well, with Chapte...

Re: ~[FICTION] My Lady Ludlow by Elizabeth Gaskell-neb

Lol! Thanks! I was most worried about the sound at this point, so thanks! If you need me to, I think I would be able to do another chapter/section. It doesn't matter which one. Have a great evening.

Re: ~[FICTION] My Lady Ludlow by Elizabeth Gaskell-neb

Thanks! I notice that "airy" or fuzzy sound, too! I will pad up the room and give it a go!

Very excited!

Re: ~[FICTION] My Lady Ludlow by Elizabeth Gaskell-neb

Ok, done! I am going to paste it in the "test" area, too, but here it is: http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/tests/test_CaprishaPage.mp3

I figure it might be most helpful to get feedback here, too.

Thanks in advance!

Re: ~[FICTION] My Lady Ludlow by Elizabeth Gaskell-neb

LOL! I found the test recording instructions. I had done that, but I didn't read all of the instructions (please don't tell my students). I didn't notice the upload instructions. I am headed to do that now. :P

Re: ~[FICTION] My Lady Ludlow by Elizabeth Gaskell-neb

I haven't done a test reading. I am going to look for that now, but if you could point me in the right direction, I would appreciate that, too! As for the name, just my forum name CaprishaPage will be fine.

Thanks for the welcome! I am headed in search of the test reading...

Have a great evening!

Re: ~[FICTION] My Lady Ludlow by Elizabeth Gaskell-neb

I would love to do section (chapter) 5. This will be my first official recording. I am very exciting. Gaskell is one of my faves! Very glad to see one of hers on the "readers wanted" page! :9:

I am also an English teacher and (have been an academic and public library director), so I can really appreciate the new life be...
