Re: The Secret Adversary by Agatha Christie

Thanks so much for your help, Ruth. She'll be disappointed (again) but better that than getting her hopes up. We'll find her something she likes and wants to record. She seems stuck on recording a novel that has not been recorded yet. Even though I tell her that is not important, she keeps insisting...

The Secret Adversary by Agatha Christie

A student wants to do an independent study with me by reading a novel for LibriVox. (She still has to join and get a little practice first.) However, she wants to read The Secret Adversary by Agatha Christie. Now, I'm aware of the issues LibriVox had in the past with the estate and I fear they still...

Re: Podcast #134&135 - BEFORE YOU PRESS RECORD: TIPS AND TRI

Great job, Piotrek! Short & sweet, well-arranged, a good amount of commentary in between each contribution. You SOUND GREAT, too. Your scripted commentary sounds very natural, conversational, and your articulation and inflection are quite lively. I hope you are moved to host more podcasts. Once ...

Re: Path to the Podcasts

Thanks for the link, Ruth. I didn't realize there was a podcast after your 8th anniversary one. I'm still looking to see Piotrek's podcast.

Path to the Podcasts

Well, I must say I love the new site design EXCEPT I cannot find a path to the podcasts which were so easy to spot on the old site. Could anyone help me get to them?

Re: Podcast #134 - BEFORE YOU PRESS RECORD: TIPS AND TRICKS

Piotrek,

How firm is that deadline? I might be able to contribute a short piece but it may not be until very late Sept 20. Any chance for 9/21? You are six hours ahead of me. Anyway, I'll try to get it in ASAP. I think I'll concentrate on my practice of preparing my script.
