Re: SOLO The Skylark of Space by E.E.Smith & L.H.Garby - ks

Wendel, the repeat in chapter 18 has been removed and the new file uploaded into the MW.

If you would check it again I would appreciate it. And then we can wrap this thing up, eh?

Many Thanks :D

Re: [CLASSICS] Commentaries on the Gallic War, Caesar-le

I had no trouble reading chapters 11 and 12 of Book IV and they had just a few typos, nothing to really bother with. Did I just luck out with well proofread chapters?

I used the "read online" function and it just popped up as a book.

Re: Is it Public Domain?

Thanks. Now I have a bookmark on that copyright site. Oh well, there are still thousands of other wonderful things that are PD so I'll just browse a bit. Also a book by Don Marquis is in Gutenberg so I presume that would be ok. As always, much gratitude for the quick response and good information. :D

Re: Is it Public Domain?

Is it Public Domain?

I would like to record some of Archy and Mehitabel, by Don Marquis. The original was published in 1927 but may still be in print. Since they are a series of newspaper articles published over many years, this may prove difficult to pin down. Some of Don Marquis' works are in GB but thisone isn't. So ...

Re: Your Librivox Resolutions 2011

My goals in 2011 are 1) to continue to have fun recording and learn to have fun editing. :D 2) to complete a simplified Wiki page for "Increasing Your Volume". This has proven much more difficult than anticipated but then I've learned a ton of good stuff. 3) to make at least 10 tutorial videos for L...

and here is Chapter 14: The Most Wonderful Part And I got to read the happiest two chapters! Thanks for saving them for me. (now if someone else, not me of course, could read the less happy chapters, we could get this book published.) http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/arb/belgiantwins_14_fitc...

Re: LibriVox Book Club: Two Years in the Forbidden City

I would like to join this club but my Sansa clip MP3 player has developed problems; it is not recognized by my computer. So as soon as it is fixed (or replaced) I will gleefully jump into the discussion ! :D EDIT: well, my Sansa clip is fixed and I've listened to the first 3 sections. Interesting. M...
