Re: [solo] Dr. Doolittle's Post Office - philc

Section 6 -- last one for right now -- all okay but Checker is not happy with volume again. You won't believe it, this time it says too low! Checker reads it as 85.2... Colleen Oh I believe it! I have increased sect ion 6 by 1.5 and uploaded again. (later chapters will be more consistently in the c...

That's because I changed it before I posted here, and then went and did section 5 as well.

Notes for both: all fine except volume high again. 93.3 and 93.4 respectively.

Colleen
Thank you Colleen (what a wonderful name!) I will reduce the volume in validation.

Re: [solo] Dr. Doolittle's Post Office - philc

Section 3 - everything is good except volume too high -- Checker shows as 93.7. Sections 0, 1 and 2 are now PL OK! Colleen Yes you are absolutely correct, the volume is to high. But please ignore the high volume. I will fix all of them in validation but leave 'em alone for the time being. I'm worki...

Re: OPEN [DR] Andrew the Glad by Maria Thompson Daviess - tg

I've asked an admin. Help is on the way. Yes I am an admin but that doesn't mean I can help very much. I noticed that someone tried to upload a different MP3 and got the same error message. Would the BC please try to upload a test file of some kind and see what happens? It may be a generic problem ...

Hello, I'd be happy to be DPL if you need one. Thank you! Thank you for offering Lynn. I will accept in place of the Book Coordinator since he is very new and probably does not know yet that properly he should be the one to do this. This is standard proof listening so it should be easy. Let me know...

Okay. Thanks 1) How is your 1 minute test going? Slow-ish, I have submitted amended version to first test, now await response. I don't understand how librivox system works, where to go for what yet. 2) How many sections do you think this book will have? 5 sections is a good estimate. This is not a ...

Yes, to make them show up on the catalog page (which I see you've done). That won't change the files at Archive. To change them at Archive, you'd have to fix them in the validator and send them to Archive again. :? Thanks. I will do that. and sincerely hope they don't disappear again.
