He has the original source files at http://www.repository.voxforge1.org/downloads/SpeechCorpus/Trunk/Audio/Original/44.1kHz_16bit/ You might want...

We have loads of them in Canada. I always get a kick out of driving past Bolsover. In Newfoundland, they have Dildo Run and Come By Chance. If you are ever driving across Canada, they have a 20 foot statue of a smiling rock in a tux and top hat in Gladstone, Manitoba. It is the Gladstone Happy Rock.

This comes up from time to time. See: http://librivox.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9969 I was looking at the comments for White Trash Land (my brother in law's novel which I recorded on podiobooks.com). One fellow REALLY didn't like my reading style. I guess I won't send him links to my music, my podca...

Bowmanville is about 45 min farther for me-- A little less than 3 hours. But either is fine with me. November 6 or 20 works as well. I'll pm Roger to let him know about this thread.

Bravo Lars. This is a great summary of the Librivox process for readers. Perhaps we should add a link to this podcast to the newbie guides and the wiki.

Hello Esther, David, Tricia, and all Ontario area Voxateers:

Should we try to have another Ontario get together before the snow flies and Esther flies west? Where and when? I'm willing to offer our newly wreckovated living room in Midland as a venue.

Took the words out of my mouth Starlite. The bandwidth of a Toyota into town with a USB stick would still be much faster than dial-up.
