A sad day indeed.

Let us not forget the nearly 5000 US servicemen who have died in Afghanistan and Iraq so far, (nearly 2000 more than died on Sept 11th) and the multitude of civilian deaths there.
People also with families.

How I long for the end to war promised in the Scriptures.

Thanks Cori. Are the rss feeds generated automatically? If not, and they are an 'option' perhaps it would be as well to desist from them while the problem is identified? If they are automatically generated by archive.org, then it may be that they need to be notified of the problem? I know nothing of...

Other notes: Once a forum admin's read the post, they'll 'sticky' the problem thread (so we never lose track of what's current.) Anyone who wants to help problem-solve is VERY welcome to join in. Confirming file-cutoffs, giving further details of a problem, or even noting that a problematic downloa...

Just a brief note on your summary: I have a hardback copy of this translation published in 1902 and showing a copyright date of 1901. The foreword is also dated to 1901 in my copy. So the translation was first published in 1901 (or 1902 at the latest). The copy on archive.org is a 1904 revision. Thi...

OK. The upshot is this: There is no possibility of a repeat bypass - my arteries are not in good enough condition to have anything to graft to. It is not possible to reopen the blocked graft that was stented in 2006. The other blockages are too extensive to be ablated - the risk of puncture to the a...

Just thought I would keep you up-to-date: After several delays, my angiogram took place on April 28th. I had 4 bypass grafts in 1996, and now 3 of them are blocked. The doctors are going to discuss a "strategy" to try to deal with the situation! They told me before that a repeat bypass was not an op...

While it is interesting to get different ideas and inputs on this, in the final analysis it really doesn't matter how you do it. The essence of Librivox is that there is absolutely no quality control, so however you do it will be acceptable, and not subject to any criticism, unless you specifically ...

We really cannot ignore the "Qatsi" trilogy: Koyaanisqatsi, Powaqqatsi and Naqoyqatsi An excellent choice. I have the first two on DVD. I saw Naqoyqatsi in a small cinema in Prague before it was shown anywhere in the UK. The I bought the dvd - I now have all three. (Note: Powaqqatsi PAL version - r...

These "events" are brilliant. My wife and I went to a few Mobile Clubbing events in London a few years ago, and there's a pillow fight planned for New York Union Square on 22nd March!

Look HERE for details.

My angiogram/-plasty is set for March 11th.

Maybe I'll feel better after that, but anyway the files are uploaded - so, whatever.
If there is a problem with the files let me know asap, so i can upload again before the end of the month.
