Thanks Chuck. It was fun to do and I'm looking forward to listening to the other stories when this is all done and signing up for a story in the next set! :)

Re: OPEN: [Dramatic Reading] JANE EYRE by Charlotte Brontë -

I decided to push forward with two of the shorter St. John sections tonight, just to keep things moving while I work on the others. Your file needs 5 seconds of silence at the end. :)

Otherwise, PL-OK! :D
Thanks - do I need to reupload? I think I have the raw files still so should be able to restore the silence at the end if needed.

Can I claim the part of the third guest? Also, as far as I can see there don't seem to be any lines for the fourth guest, so I wondered if his or her inclusion is actually needed here or if I am just missing something.

Here's my effort. The pronunciation of 'wind' caught me a little when reading this aloud - I decided to go with the pronunciation that made the meaning clearest (rather than preserving the rhyme) but I'll happily re-record if necessary. 14: Three Jovial Huntsmen (2:13) http://upload.librivox.org/sha...

Re: Modern books that you wish we could record.

I wish we could do a dramatic reading of the 'The Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place' series which have been published over the last few years (with another coming early next year). A very comical, utterly charming series of childrens' books about a young governess who is put in charge of three c...
