We did have some pretty hard-hit areas, but everything is essentially back to normal along this stretch of Old Muddy.

The city made some infrastructure improvements that helped avoid so much damage from this year's late-season floods.

Probably the first of many small-world moments... Our home is two streets over from Grand Avenue, and not far from Vanderveer. I walk the dog to the park and ride bikes with the kids along Duck Creek. It's a great place to call home. Thanks for your lovely sentiment!
