Welcome to LibriVox! Duplicates are fine. Everyone's interpretation of a book is different. The more the merrier. I'm sure your P&P is a valuable addition to the audiobook universe. One of the good things about LibriVox is the "power of the many". Because we're working with many people, we've accumu...

W00t! I've got readers lined up, and a photographer, too.

For anyone who's in Tokyo and wants to come along, it looks like we'll be at the Dubliners in Akasaka on Wednesday, December 7. Should be crowded, noisy and a lot of fun.

Drop me a mail for all the details.

Oh, it went very well this evening. Laurent read two letters (which I will edit tomorrow or Wednesday) and we parted with an indifinite date but a promise to finish the rest soon. Even though I can't entirely understand all the French, he has a very expressive reading voice. I think this will be a g...

I have a Belgian friend coming over to do a "test letter" this evening to see how it will go for him. He loves the book and the flowerly old French. If he enjoys reading into the microphone, I'll twist his arm (just a little) to sign up to read the other 9 in the batch.

That's perfectly ok, but many of us self-promote a little, either at the beginning or at the end. I'm sure you saw the preferred formats in the ...

Company Librarian? I sure would like to work at a company that had a library.

I imagine excellent lunch hours perusing the latest novel, but I suspect it's a large collection of technical manuals or textbooks...
