Re: ~OPEN: Beyond the Horizon by Eugene O'Neill - ek

Sure, no problem.

I'm male, so I could take on Ben too, or the narrator. I wouldn't mind taking anything that's going. :)

Re: ~OPEN: Beyond the Horizon by Eugene O'Neill - ek

This play was on my want-to-do list, so can I claim the role of Andrew? O'Neill is one of my great favorites. I have the complete three-volume edition of his plays published by the Library of America. :D

Re: The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes, Vol. 1 - arb

Hello Nullifidian, I'm still planning on finishing the 2nd half of my story. I also see I have PL notes on the first part and I'm working on fixing them. Thanks for letting us know! :D And as an aside, I also got a PM back from David Richardson saying that he had the second section recorded, but wo...

Re: The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes, Vol. 1 - arb

Sorry for the delay. I've been absolutely hammered by a sinus cold that dropped into my lungs and became bronchitis, so I couldn't even think of anything to do with LibriVox. I spoke to Demimonde, and she said that she would probably have to orphan her chapter, and netfarer has not checked in either...

Re: Looking for a Greek philosophy "specialist" for podcasts

Unfortunately, I was always very very bad at philosophy, everything seems like such a great idea when explained so nicely... However, i sent this link on to a few of my friends that did actually go on to do graduate studies in this. Do you know if htey still need anyone? I'm not sure, quite honestl...

Re: The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes, Vol. 1 - arb

Okay, those sound like good suggestions, and I'll get my own section done soon. I'll probably have to do it in parts, but I think I should have it finished by this weekend at least. That will give me around three or four days starting tomorrow.

Edited to add: All PMs sent.

Re: [PHILOSOPHY] Ecce Homo by Friedrich Nietzsche-le

Hi! I've decided to come back to LibriVox, so if you'd still like me to be the DPL here, I'd be happy to undertake that role again. You can expect my notes on section 2 tomorrow (it's 10:30 p.m. on a Monday evening here now).

No spoiler alerts, because I've not even begun, but this is one of my favorite novels. I'm looking forward to it. :D

Thanks! :D

And since I'm back, I'll also probably be BCing that second volume of Rivals too after this one is finished.

Re: The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes, Vol. 1 - arb

Since nobody has decided to step in as BC, may I return to that role? I've been second thoughts about leaving for a while, and now I think it's time to own up to them instead of staying away out of a foolish sense that I need to be consistent about this. To be honest, I feel a little bit embarrassed...

Re: Any Famous Librivox persons out there ?. {Not pro narrat

I had to guesstimate by knowing my habits. I wash my hands when I'm in the bathroom and before I prepare food, so I guessed about half a dozen times.

One person claimed to wash their hands 40-50 times a day. I :lol:ed and thought Step away from the soap, Lady Macbeth.

Re: [PHILOSOPHY] Ecce Homo by Friedrich Nietzsche-le

I'm going to be leaving LibriVox, so I'm going to have to beg off being the DPL for the remainder of this project. Many apologies for being so unreliable, but at least I won't be coming back.

I'm afraid I'm leaving LibriVox, so I won't be able to complete this project as your DPL. Sorry. :(

I am leaving LibriVox for good, so I'm afraid I won't be able to see this project through as your DPL. Sorry. :(
