Re: [ART]The Mary Frances Knitting and Crocheting Book-icequ

Okay! MW should be all up to date with Twinkle and Jennifer's claims. Jennifer, I'll keep an eye on this thread and update with your files whenever you have a chance to reupload.

Re: What is your least favourite word?

The hardest word to say in the English language is "clasped." It is like three syllables mushed into one, and the s and p make two sounds that are impossible to say next to each other. The word comes up a LOT in the Anne of Green Gables books.

Re: GROUP The Mary Frances Knitting and Crocheting Book-iceq

My instinct is to say no, since we don't read illustration captions and I'd put that kind of parenthetical in that category. I'm certainly not married to that position, though, if anyone feels strongly the other way.

Re: GROUP The Mary Frances Knitting and Crocheting Book-iceq

Oh, interesting. When I started this project several years ago, the Archive scan was the only one available and it wasn't on Gutenberg - it's clearly been added since. I just had a look at the Gutenberg version and I'm confident it's the same text and 1918 edition, as the illustrations are the same,...
