Hi. I PL'ed Section 1 and it has a couple of minor glitches At 2: 49 text reads “…neither butter nor shoes nor poetry…” I hear “neither butter nor shoes nor pottery,..” changes meaning a bit. At 8:54 Text:“His petulant, sleep-swollen face…” I hear “His petulant, sweep-swollen face…” 25:04 A slight s...

Mike,

If you can wait one more week,I can start to PL in earnest again around Sunday the 25th. I can sneak in PLing tonight as I'm snowbound. If you'd like someone who can PL each section sooner, I'll graciously step aside.

Cheers,
Betty

Marion, I PLed the first 2 sections of that project. All that was asked for was Standard Proof Listening. That means the PL person does not have to read along while listening. For Standard you just make sure the disclaimer is read, there are no annoying stumbles or repetitions and the ending has the...

Back on topic,
I belong to a Dr Who Forum and I asked one of my sources about this and he said there were several programs done for radio beginning with Jon Pertwee. But none are in the public domain. They are available on CD for purchase only Sorry!

Hi Jane. I PL'ed the last section and there are two very tiny glitches. Around 12:06 I hear “that I can eat and drink in my hand while my horse is being reshod.” text cited reads “that I can eat and drink in my hand while my horse is being shod.” At 30:05 I hear “I left the room hastily on hearing o...

I PLed Section 1 and it's OK to catalog. I'm about to download and PL section 2.

If I'm needed I can PL more sections in a couple of days. The story is intriguing.

Betty

Count me in too. I love reading/listening to books. I read a bunch last year and when I joined Librivox I read even more.

Section 16 is OK

Section 17 is OK.

I feel the same way at the end of a book. Grey can write poignantly when you least expect it.

Very well narrated again, Mike. Now, it's Esther's turn to do her thing!

Cheers,
Betty
