Ooooh, I just taught this one to my sophomores! Exciting stuff... I'll take Chaucer's Tale of Meliboeus, since it's easily the most boring chapter in the whole book. :o)

Depends on where you're staying in L.A. If you mean downtown L.A. proper then it'd be an hour's drive south, or thereabouts (not accounting for traffic).
