Re: SOLO The Best Nonsense Verses, Chosen by Josephine Dodge Daskam - icequeen

Listening to these poems is relaxing. It's never jumbled, garbled, or taxing, But now I must go take a nap, Lest I spill coffee in my lap. Lomond Oh Lomond! Your verse got me laughing out loud. Thanks for that hearty laugh. Such a surprise when I recognized that you rhymed it! Thanks for having suc...

Re: [POETRY] Boys and Girls by James W Foley-mas

Greetings - Chapters 96 and 110 are typical of GraceBuchanan's good reading style. Definitely PL OK. Alas! Chapter 99: TIME: 00:54 TEXT: "Never a sorrow to bruise her breast," Reading has "brow" instead of "breast". Now that I am caught up with Grace's offerings for this book, I will go back to "No...

Hi Grace,
Chapter # please.
Thanks,
-Amy
Thanks Amy.

You might want to edit the script in the listing from "The Forest Lovers, by Maurice Henry Hewlett. [Chapter]" and "End of [Chapter]" to make sure that other readers notice this.

Re: SOLO The Best Nonsense Verses, Chosen by Josephine Dodge Daskam - icequeen

Greetings - Nothing crackly heard here. Just your normal great reading of poems. Chapters 15, 16, and 17 are now listed as PL OK. Lomond Yay! Thanks so much for your reassurance. Each time I play them, the crackles are in different places, so I'll continue attributing it to my headphones and keep m...

Re: [Historical Fict]The Forest Lovers -Maurice Hewlett-ag

I came across a few questions: Intro/Outro: Shall we specify "Chapter #" or just "#"? such as "Chapter 1" or "1"? Chapter one: "It as far, it was deep, it was dark as night" I think that "It as far" should be "It was far". Can I read it that way, or must I read "It as far..." Thanks for clarifying t...

[SOLO] ZADIG; OR, THE Book of Fate, by Voltaire (1694 - 1778) - lt

ZADIG; OR, THE Book of Fate (1694 - 1778) . "there is no Evil under the Sun, but some Good proceeds from it:" -- this quote from this novel sums it up. "The author does not attempt any historical accuracy, and some of the problems Zadig faces are thinly disguised references to social and political ...

Re: [Historical Fict]The Forest Lovers -Maurice Hewlett-ag

It really is a fun story and has such a great title. They say that this book was the one that sold well enough that Hewlett could quit his day job. Thanks! -Amy :) I love the sense of humor behind the Robin Hood-like story. I first read the title as meaning that it was about lovers of the forest, b...
