Re: Chronicles of Narnia

My favorites as a child were The Magician's Nephew , The Silver Chair , and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader as a close third. I see you are relatively new here! Welcome! Thank you! I'm really enjoying the forum, everyone is so friendly! What spoke to you in The Magician's Nephew? Aaahhh where do I b...

Re: Chronicles of Narnia

I really enjoy the dramatized versions (Focus on the Family Radio Theatre) as well. A few of the early ones were not well cast but some of the other titles were amazing! Esp. Magician's Nephew, Horse and His Boy, and Last Battle. Paul Scofield was so great as the narrator. One of my favorite voices...

Re: Hey! I Know Who That Is!

I've read a handful of Hentys and Percival Keene by Marryat. I didn't become a fan, but they're interesting authors in their own way, especially Marryat who was a real-life sea captain and acquainted with Charles Dickens. :)

I'm not a reader, but as a fellow developer, just wanted to say what a cool idea for an app! :)

Re: COMPLETE Linda Tressel by Anthony Trollope - dc

Hi, I'm working on the cover art for Linda Tressel. I noticed her last name is spelled with one "l" on the Gutenberg site, and two "l"'s on the Librivox title & description. Is that a typo?

Re: Covermakers Chat Thread

Is there any guidance on how to handle VERY long titles on the CD jewel case spines? For example: "The Journal of a Tour to the Hebrides with Samuel Johnson - James Boswell". I can make the font size tiny, but that rather defeats the purpose. I was thinking of leaving off the "with Samuel Joh...
