Re: [group]Some Everyday Folk & Dawn by Miles Franklin-ans

Okay, great, I'll actually go with chapter 29 first then, since it's much shorter than 28, just to get my feet wet. I know that Barbara said she's still on as the DPL. Barbara, your location says Australia, does that mean you'll be able to help me with pronunciation on some of the terms, I'm an incr...

Re: [group]Some Everyday Folk & Dawn by Miles Franklin-ans

Hi Lucas,

I was going to volunteer for chapter 29, but looking at the thread, it seems like I should just pick up where the previous narrator left off?

Is anyone out there? Did I do something wrong with my file? How does it sound? Can I start helping out?

1Minute Test - Feedback desired

Hello, this is my 1 minute test after setting up a very basic booth with blankets in our office. It gets a lot of ambient noise during the day from outside, especially these days (lawnmowers and motorcycles mostly now, lol). So the only thing I've done to it is add a bit of a noise gate at the front...

Re: Hello from Bryan in the Midwest

Thanks Anne! I work for an academic publisher who publishes quite a bit of material released to the public in some way (CC licenses, Knowledge Unlatched, Project Muse, etc.) and I actually manage the process of providing accessible copies for students who might have a print disability, so this proje...

Hello from Bryan in the Midwest

Hi everyone, My name is obviously Bryan, I've been in academic publishing for about 8 years. I've always wanted to read audiobooks, and I thought that this and some inexpensive hardware was a good way to give it a shot and see if I'm any good as well as do some good for others. I'd be interested in ...
