Spanish proof listener needed?

My friend's niece has cerebral palsy and does not speak well, but she earned a Master's Degree in Spanish and might be interested in becoming a proof listener. She can use a computer, although slowly. Is there a need for a listener of Spanish books?

Don't feel terrible! I'm so grateful you're willing to do the listening for this project, and a few more listen throughs doesn't cause any kind of problem for me. We're almost there. :D Here's Chapter 40. I inserted the footnote right into the text without saying: footnote, so I can change that if n...

I didn't do anything. I did find my Bose which are heavy and hot, but I'm going to use them from now on for final run through. Thanks, SC.

Hi Cheryl---You heard popping on 38? I can run it through the declicker again or redo low roll off again (don't ask me what it is, but it does fix pops). I didn't hear it. I'll listen to it again with my Bose and would like to fix it. Here's 39. Let me know if you hear same. I'll have to figure out ...

Hi Cheryl----Yes, I do want to listen to it. I didn't notice it, but I did have some trouble uploading, and I may have uploaded the wrong version. Will fix. Thank you. --------Edit ----Oh, looks my entire last two hours of editing didn't stick for some reason. Sorry you had to hear that---ick.

I think we see the finish line! Little claps good! I downloaded Ch 37 three times---long story. Last upload was the correct one. Hope it worked. Here it is:

Hi Cheryl---Here is Chapter 34: It is 41:43 long. There's a very funny throw away line about Henry VIII towards the end---don't let it slip past you.

I have my eye on a book that was written in Portuguese in 1899, but recently (I think) translated into English. Would that be in the public domain?
Just out of curiosity, what would the book be? :hmm:

Sorry---look below. I suck at this forum. Dom Casmurro.

Re: What's LV policy on recently translated books?

Sorry for the lag time. It's Dom Casmurro by Machado De Assis, and people rave about this book. I see several of his other books are already on librivox, but for some strange reason, not this, the most famous, one. Translation copyright is 1953, so I'm out of luck. Spiffy
