Re: [GRP/travel] Celebrated Women Travelers of the Nineteenth Century by W.H.Davenport Adams - lt

Hello! I have claimed the 13th chapter, however I will not be able to finish the recording in at least the next 2 months. I am very sorry, but I have to go back on my word this time. Thought I should at least inform you as soon as I realised it.

Re: [GRP/travel] Celebrated Women Travelers of the Nineteenth Century by W.H.Davenport Adams - lt

Thank you for claiming. There is no hard and fast rule on footnotes. I personally don't like to include them. If they say something like "see page 18", they are of no use in an audiobook. If they add useful of interesting information (and that's subjective), why were they not useful or in...

Hello! I would like to take section 13 ('Madame de Bourboulon')
I also wondered if the footnotes need to be read and if yes -- how should they be included in the text?

Re: ~[non-fiction] Where No Fear Was: A Book About Fear by AC Benson -ck

Hello, Carolin! :)
It will only be my second recording for librivox, so, I probably should not be the one making the first impression on listeners. But from what I have already read the book seems very enjoyable, and I would love to do at least 2 sections of it. May I take the 2nd and 3rd ones?

Re: [Kids/sci]Water Wonders Every Child Should Know - Jean M. Thompson - lt

Thank you. How long is it please? Max will check it and give you PL notes, so please be sure to check back. It is always a surprise how much longer it takes to record and edit than to just read a passage. It does get easier and more streamlined, the more you do it; but it is still quite time-consum...

Hello! I would like to record the 4th section. I will be able to finish it either tomorrow or the day after.
Since it will be my first LibriVox recording, if I can take the chapter I want to have my forum name stored in the catalogue. Can it be linked to my facebook page?

Thank you!

Hello-hello

Nice to be here at last. :) I've always liked reading out loud, making voices and such, so, finding the site was only a matter of time. I am Russian, but I think English just sounds great and is a lot of fun to talk in. Nevertheless, it means I can do the accent if needed. Looking forward to working...
