Re: [group] RAGGEDY ANDY STORIES - phil

First it was the lawn service.

Next? an unwanted visit from Father Christmas's awful daughter.

FINALLY time to hit the studio! NOPE!

Bumpass neighbors having a maskless raucous party on their outside deck right next door.

:hmm:

Re: [FR] WANTED: PIANISTS or other instrument players - Chansons et rondes enfantines, Weckerlin - ez

Ezwa, I'll admit I jumped into this project because I was so excited to see it JUST when I had purchased my first piano in years! What is the time frame? I know I only have one short piece, (and it won't suck, I promise,) but I DO need to do some work to get back my skills. If you want it tomorrow, ...

Re: Knitting! (and other needle arts...)

Wow. I am so impressed! I have gone full stop into charity knitting and then quit abruptly, although I have friends who only knit for charities. I've been doing scarve shawls, beanies, (I just did a reversible one that was fun,) and I'm working on a coat sweater for my grandson. I suppose it's almos...

This project is strangely serendipitous as I just spent a bonus check on a refurbished piano, after many years of not having one. I used to be intermediate pretty good, but have a lot of work to do to get to where I was.

However, these songs seem like the perfect project!

"Phil? PHIL? Now DON'T tell me you don't remember me because I sure as heckfire remember you. NED RYERSON!!!!" (Woodchuck reference. Or ... groundhog.)

Seriously, Phil, I'm leaving on a week's vacation tomorrow. Can my last chapter wait until my return or would you prefer to have it tonight?

Re: Knitting! (and other needle arts...)

Before I had actual jobs out of the home, years ago, I was way too active on the boards -- chat boards, yarn swapping, all sorts of things. WAY too much time spent, with ensuing drama and money spent sending yarn to other places. I gave up my user name and got a new one, and I have no friends (well,...

Re: Knitting! (and other needle arts...)

I think that tea cozies are much ... cozier than microwaves. I always have a few in my Ravelry queue. There's one that looks like a Hobbit's house, and an owl, and a beehive. :) I have a large Stangl teapot that I rarely use, and a small "Brown Betty" that I got from Amazon. When I get stressed, and...

New readers is how we cultivate intermediate and advanced readers! You are a seedling. Soon you will be a sprout, and then a plant.

With careful tending, watering, and pruning, you will become ...

Off to make coffee.
