I?m totally oblivious, didn?t even know about the movie when I started this project. I haven?t been around lately, had a crazy unrecoverable system error and had to reinstall windows. Thankfully, everyone?s stories are fine, I keep them on a separate drive and as a backup I hide them under my pillow...

When have I ever argued with you? How do we move?

I would also like to thank everyone for their time. I've got the next couple weeks off so I'll carefully go through everything we have so far and see if any tweaking is needed.

Fine work y'all, almost there. If there is anyone else who is unable to complete their story or has simply changed their mind, now is the time to let us know.

Thanks,
Todd

I'm creating a new rule, if a person requests no laughing, every snicker will cost you a quarter, plus my 8.75% forum tax. If no request is made, then do your worst.

Sure thing, Scott. There are still a handful of stories left, tell your friends, families, co-workers, neighbors...

For anyone who may have missed it, billatrit has a very helpful recording tips as well as an excellent philosophical view of librovox recordings. I won't post it again here, jump back to page 8 and have a look. Thanks Bill.

I believe we have missed Peter asking to record The Blue Light and billyuno asking to record The Wedding of Mrs Fox. Sorry about that, if you haven't started recording already, the stories are yours.

Thanks thistlechick, The Dog and the Sparrow is all yours.

I've used the USB logitech mics and agree with Kara, they sound fine, and for ease of use alone they are more than worth the price.

All yours sihaya! Of the zillions of microphes out there I have chosen three. The lowest cost is the Samson R11. I've never used this mic, but have heard it's a nice copy of the next mic on my list, the Shure SM58. No suprises with this one, I'd like to mention I use a numbers of old, banged up sm58...

I enjoyed your reading. No changes, if you would like to do this on a regular basis I might consider a new microphone. I'll put together a list of microphones for all budgets later today. Thanks Jon.

Go Jon go.

Good, I've been looking to get more youngsters involved. I like the informal librovox intro. Two thumbs up on the reading, one for families working together, and one for showing the world american children can read and use computers. Take that Canada.

Thanks rfrancis! I also work with Adobe Audition. If an original wav file isn't availlable, I'll do what I can with the mp3. Simply post to the website using yousendit.com or whatever you have available so I can link to it. If anyone is interested in a post recording group commentary as a bonus feat...
