Hi guys,
I've also uploaded section 9 :) I'm gonna take a break from recording for a bit, from a few days to maybe a week or two, not sure. But then I'll be back in full force ;)

Re: SOLO Rhyme? And Reason? by Lewis Carroll - lt

Sections 11 and 14 PL OK! Section 17: 0:08 I hear "Recording by Michael Fame's Penny-Trumpet"; it doesn't include "Maggs" which you do have in all the other ones, which is absolute fine of course--but considering the very brief pause between your name and the poem title, perhaps you cut it out by mi...

Re: [PLAY]A Woman is a Weathercock by Nathan Field-mas

OK, Foon, these are great. I was worried that asking for slurring would mean the words would be difficult to make out, but this is a really good balance. One thing, since you request pronunciation notes. In act 3, in the line "'Tis pestilence sack and cruel claret", I would expect 'claret' to be 'k...

Hi Michael, Great progress! Optional PL note section 7: 2:21 I hear "End of the Valentine" instead of " a " Not very important, but since it's the title, you may want to change it. Up to you. Section 9, 10: PL OK  I'll try to listen to the other 3 later tonight. By the way; I've actually done ...

Re: [SOLO/poetry] Leaves of Grass by Walt Whitman-mas

PL notes for Section 1: At 4:33 and also again at 4:52, " Mariners " is pronounced "mar-uh-ners" and you said "muh-ree-ners" as in the word "marine" At 13:57, the text is "I seek for my own use ". Here the word "use" is being used as a noun and is pronounced "yoos". You said "yooz" which is the ver...

Re: [GROUP] The Book of the Thousand Nights and a Night (Arabian Nights), Vol 10 - tg

Section 1 PL OK ! I know we still have to finish the indices, but after ten years all thousand and one nights are done! If anyone's interested, this is where it started: https://librivox.org/the-book-of-a-thousand-nights-and-a-night-volume-01-by-anonymous/ Of course, even after we finish the...

Re: One Minute Text

Hi Muhammad, Great job, all the specs are correct now and the recording sounds great! Your 1-minute test is OK! It's wonderful that you have some books in mind that you want to record (and that they are indeed in the public domain). As you say, it might be good to start with some sections in ...
