Of course, Foon, I would be honored to have you DPL! :D
Just letting you know, after reading the first 30 pages, it really has no resemblance to LOG
No, I figured as much, but it still seems like a fun read! ;)
Looking forward to listening!

Re: [solo] The Boys' and Girls' Pliny Vol 3-ans

Anne, if I click on the project link from my reader page, I go to editing my first post (https://forum.librivox.org/posting.php?mode=edit&f=28&p=1582512) instead of the regular project page (https://forum.librivox.org/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=74744). Can that be changed?

I have only a few notes for section 19:

0:27 – should be ‘yet has’, heard ‘has yet’
14:24 – dilatory, pronounced ‘DIH-luh-to-ry’ rather than ‘die-LAY-to-ry’

You are doing incredible! You're recording so fast, it's amazing!
And another, ready for spot PL!

Re: [SOLO/poetry] Leaves of Grass by Walt Whitman-mas

I got through the lengthy section 7 with only a few notes: 4:07 – ‘herbage’, up until this point you had been using the British pronunciation with the h in there, here you used the American with a silent h, might be nice to change for consistency’s sake 13:28 – ‘compass’d’, should be pronounced ‘CO...

Time to make some more progress: I've uploaded section 23, and 24 (the second half of that book) will hopefully come later today!

Edit: and 24 is now uploaded as well. :)

Re: [OPEN]World's Story 7: Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland - kit

Does the song mean anything ? It sounds to me like a mixture of English and Dutch, not entirely Dutch at all. Thanks Sonia! No, the song didn't mean anything to me--there are no Dutch words in it except for "botermelk" (buttermilk). I had a quick google and it seems like it might be an American son...

Re: [OPEN]World's Story 7: Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland - kit

This section is PL ok . I loved to hear the names or the children with the Dutch pronunciation :9: Are these still modern names nowadays or rather older and not often used ? Some sound quite traditional. You're right, some are quite old-fashioned! Karel, Hilda (Hilde), Katy, Hendrick (Hendrik), Die...
