Re: Text Policy: Historic & Going Into 2019

I am SOOOOO excited for all the new books coming into the public domain. LV is going to be VERY busy this year! Are there any threads within Book suggestions where people are discussing the works they would like to do once the new year hits?

Hey RMW, do you happen to also speak Hawaiian??? I would like to put together the book on Hawaiian fairytales soon :))) LOT of Hawaiian names in there. I could learn it but it would sound so much better done justice by a native Hawaiian speaker :))

alright Walnut, let me know what you think of this version. I did all the things you asked and tried to cut some of the silences within paragraphs too. Still getting the hang of editing :)

Re: [ROMCOM] The Visits of Elizabeth by Elinor Glyn -ck

BOOOM! Finally done editing!!! Phew! Great reading! You have a lovely voice. I enjoyed the exaggerated accent you chose for Lady Theodosia. Here are some things that should be fixed: At 15:10, 19:08, 20:10, 25:43, and 27:13 there are a very long pauses that should be cut down. The recording is also...

Re: [GRP] The Wisdom of the Ancients, A Series Of Mythological Fables by Francis Bacon - tg

King James was the King who had the Bible translated into English. He lived from 1566-1625 and the Bible was translated in 1611. Francis Bacon 1561-1625. Shakespeare 1564-1618. Ok, so they were contemporaries :) Guess I've just never tried to read Shakespeare from the original text so I didn't know...

Re: [GRP] The Wisdom of the Ancients, A Series Of Mythological Fables by Francis Bacon - tg

Horray!! PL ok! Thanks for showing interested in my project. It's a bit of a schlep getting it all transcribed but shouldn't be too hard to record. I think King James I was just a little before Shakespeare and Bacon. Macbeth is almost completely based on King Jame's Demonology in terms of the occult...

Re: [GRP] The Wisdom of the Ancients, A Series Of Mythological Fables by Francis Bacon - tg

All done :9: Gonna really miss this project. Thanks for all your patience Soupy/Craig on my tardy recordings. This one shouldn't have too many errors since I DP'd it myself three times and fixed any errors I heard. But there may still be one or two. Been a pleasure working with everyone and I can't ...

Hi Carolin,
I promise I haven't forgotten. There's just A LOT to edit here since it's 30 mins. Everything is at the right level and now I'm just going through and doing a self DPL before the official DPL. Takes longer but I think there will be fewer to no mistakes by the time I post it up :)
