Re: [group] Stories in the Dark by Barry Pain -ck

Finally got it! So sorry about the delay, had to set my little recording booth back up. I've re-uploaded the file but I had to put a '-2' at the end of it because the uploader kept timing out at the end when it was named the same as the last upload. Hope that's alright. https://librivox.org/uploads/...

Re: [group] Stories in the Dark by Barry Pain -ck

Sorry, just now seeing this. This is my first time working on a collection like this and I thought I was all done. Apologies for holding the process up. I'll get that bit recorded and added to the end of the track in the next couple of days.

I quite agree! I'm a photographer and illustrator by trade, https://www.instagram.com/davidnoceti/ that's why I ask. But if you've got it covered then we're all set!

Re: [group] Stories in the Dark by Barry Pain -ck

By the way, now that we're so close to the end, what is the process for cover art? Do we wait for it to be posted and then claim it somewhere else if we're interested in doing the artwork for it?

Re: [group] Stories in the Dark by Barry Pain -ck

Whew! That was a long one (for me). Had some trouble staying in character but this was wonderful practice! This is my first edit in Reaper, so please let me know if anything is off. I ran it through the checker program and got a thumbs up, but I'm sure you would know better, Carolin. Title: The Gray...

Just an update. I've just finished reading Section 11 and should have an edited file for you in a couple of days.

Re: [group] Stories in the Dark by Barry Pain -ck

Quick question. In this story the narrator writes, "Archbishop M------" a few times in the beginning of the story. It appears as though the author's intent was to make it look like the Archbishop's name was redacted, but in reading it that won't be conveyed. I was thinking of, on the first...

Re: [group] Stories in the Dark by Barry Pain -ck

If 'The Gray Cat' is back on the table I'd be happy to read it so that we can finish out the collection.

Re: [OPEN] Short Science Fiction Collection 062-ag

Sorry about that! I've downloaded the checker program now and will run files through there first before posting. Amplifying would have produced clipping so I ran the compression effect in Audacity instead. Checker says it should be okay now, but you'd know better than the program. https://librivox.o...

Re: [OPEN] Short Science Fiction Collection 062-ag

Wonderful! Now that I have everything dialed in I'll start picking out more shorts from that list if that's alright with you. Should I pitch them first, or just record and submit? Or if you have suggestions about what you'd like in this collection I'm open to that as well.

Thanks again, Amy.
