I'm worried about me too sometimes.

Apologies for any messes I've left half-completed. I will fix them up, I promise!

Sorry i've let this slip a bit. Unfortunately "life" has intervened. I hope to fully catch up tonight.

May apologies.

Thanks Simon. I'm downloading now (will take 5 minutes or so). Since Ruthie has already recorded some of her role, I'll wait for her to say what her immediate plans are, now that your part is up, before I start recording. Though I'm going to do some practice.

Munchkin 1 - section 32 http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/jc/wonderfulwizardofoz_32_baum.wav I haven't audio processed this except to silence some bits between words. No normalisation or noise reduction. I can do more processing if needed. Format: .WAV 44.1Khz, 16bit Size: 4.8m Length: 55 sec...

Thanks dgf, a real "story telling" interpretation there. I could see, in my mind's eye, an old sea salt telling the story in a dark corner of a sailor's tavern. While I was editing the magic window, I was going to see if I could undo the "completed" tag for RuthieG's version. But...

I do lots of typos as well, so I shouldn't be complaining. But I can't keep from noticing that the title of this thread has the category [CHIDREN] instead of [CHILDREN].

Going to be easiest for me then, as I'll be last. So I'll have the most guidance on how to phrase things. *basks in self-interest*.

My character does say a lot of "Darling"s. I wish I had the voice acting skills to make him a real "luvvie" :)

Can I be "munchkin 1" please. Note that there are four lines of munchkin dialogue. I presume that Munchkin 1 does the first two lines, though the text is ambiguous concerning whether there are three munchkins or four. "a munchkin" is not necessarily the same as the later " ....

Ruthie's cockney rendition makes an excellent trial run for editing the magic window. (Very amusing too, thanks Ruthie). I wasn't quite sure how to put the "PL-OK!" in, I just edited it in manually under "notes". Other than that, it all looks good to go. No need to hide the threa...

Oops, that was me having a brain blip when I moved the thread. I wasn't trying to prompt you to update the box.

Russiandoll, is it OK if I ask you to read ALL the stage directions (as well as intros and outtros)? I'll then put in the appropriate ones. That's what I did when I read the stage directions for Lady Windermere's fan. It seemed to make the whole process quicker and easier rather than asking. Althoug...
