Re: Music - What are you listening to?

I'm quite enjoying the new Vance Joy album. Can still hear that trademark sound but it's gone in some interesting directions.

Re: Other Hobbies?

Duolingo struggles a bit with making sure you're remembering old words and sentences. It's easy to learn new stuff, but I think it could do a better job of forcing you to retain the things you did last week, or whenever.

Re: Music - What are you listening to?

I didn't even know Bandcamp existed until a few weeks ago... kinda nice to support something that isn't a mega-corporation like Apple :P I wanted an alternative to SoundClo...

Re: Other Hobbies?

I've started to pick up a few new hobbies that I'm excited about. One is archery :D Another is learning Spanish. I like the idea of doing archery because it's physical but also has a meditative aspect to it. As for learning a language, I just feel like I want to! Never really known another language...

Re: One Book A Week Club 2018

Funny, I never really have a list. I just focus on one book at a time, then when I'm done, will scour the web for something new. That way, I don't feel pressure to finish the book, but simply get it done in my own time without something waiting in line!

Re: Librivox App

Hey guys I was wondering if I download an audiobook on my Librivox App on my phone if it will use up internet data when I listen to it? I work outside in the summer and I wanted to listen to audiobooks while I work. I won't have access to the internet on my phone where I work and I don't want to us...

Re: Mother Kangaroo and Joey

Yeah, kangaroos are surprisingly friendly around humans... I think the red kangaroo is quite ugly, but other breeds are very cute and nice.

Re: Films better than books

Obviously Lord of the Rings! Lightyears better than the books Oh no, definitely not! The movies are a fun adventure romp through fantasy land with a bit of humour thrown in. The books are philosophical reflections on human nature and society, among other things, as well as being the archetype for f...

Re: Books to study English?

Your English already sounds pretty good! What about books you've already read in your own language? Like Harry Potter maybe? Then you know the story and it's perhaps easier to understand in English.
