Re: ~[poetry] Dulcamara, Selections by Howard Saxby -ck

Well, cram. My daughter noticed a missed word in "liquor is as nothing". I'm leaving for AZ in an hour. I'll get "When Falls the Rain" posted on Monday. So sorry for the delay! - Erin

Re: ~[poetry] Dulcamara, Selections by Howard Saxby -ck

Hi, Carolin! Here's #15 with .75 sec of silence at the start just in case the 1.15sec is a fuss. I'll keep better tabs on my sloppy silence in the future. :P The new time is just under 1:57 https://librivox.org/uploads/carolin/dulcamara_15_saxby_128kb.mp3 Also, I'd love to do When Falls the Rain #17...

Re: ~[poetry] Dulcamara, Selections by Howard Saxby -ck

Erin, Sections 4 and 15 are PL OK. I love the character changes accounted for between these sections. Well done. Be mindful of the opening silence. You don't want more than 1 second. 15 is a tiny bit over (01.25). Carolin will let you know if she would prefer it trimmed. Thank you!! :D I'll keep th...

#15 A Paraphrase (1:58) https://librivox.org/uploads/carolin/dulcamara_15_saxby_128kb.mp3 Oh, man- I had way too much fun recording this today! If it's too too much - let me know and I can back it down. Considering Catiline's plot to assassinate a few senators then burn down the whole city to grab p...

Re: ~[poetry] Dulcamara, Selections by Howard Saxby -ck

One more question before I get to reading this week. Is the title for the intro of #15 " A Paraphrase" or "A Paraphrase on the Last Paragraph of Cicero's First Oration Against Catiline"?

Thanks!

Re: ~[poetry] Dulcamara, Selections by Howard Saxby -ck

Hi, Carolin-

I'd like to have the two niblets 4 & 15 as I get back into recording.

For Paraphrase -#15 should the footnote be interjected between the 2 stanzas almost as an aside?

Hi! I'd like to take #23 Coqutte. I don't think my American accent would be too far a stretch for her story. It might take me a few weeks to get going. I've been out for a few months and now that I'm back, I'm working on re-tooling my sound booth (read: constructing sound booth instead of padding pi...
