Chapters 6 and 7 are ready.

Chapter 5 is ready. It is long, and it should be mentioned that it has some patronizing words about Indians, as well as a few brief insulting sentences about black slaves. That was hard for me to read.

Section 5 is uploaded.

I uploaded section 4 today.

Thanks for filling me in on how to pronounce Schenectady. Oh, those Dutch words! I must admit that I am making up the pronunciation of the unknown Indian names and words as I go along. I have uploaded sections 1 and 2. 19th century books seem to abound in geographical description.

I recorded the Preface today. I am not experienced enough to know whether it is standard procedure to include the preface? Do you know? If not, we can take it out. Ordinarily, I eschew prefaces. But this one wasn't too bad.

I think I fixed it. Do you think section 13 will still need to be proof listened? I guess I will still be holding my breath!
