Chapter 5 is ready. It is long, and it should be mentioned that it has some patronizing words about Indians, as well as a few brief insulting sentences about black slaves. That was hard for me to read.

I recorded the Preface today. I am not experienced enough to know whether it is standard procedure to include the preface? Do you know? If not, we can take it out. Ordinarily, I eschew prefaces. But this one wasn't too bad.
