Yes, I guess))) I first thought of a werewolf (the jungle variety ;)))). I guess the author just couldn't decide which monster to choose from and finally combined them into one)))

In general, I prefer prose to poetry (which I prefer to read rather than to listen). That is excepting Pushkin's, Maiakovski's and Akhmatova's works. The former is particularly famous for his novels in verse (such as Eugene Onegin and many fairy-tales ('Ruslan and Ludmila' can be given as an example...
