Section 18 is uploaded and ready for proofing.

Section 17 is up and ready for proofing.

Section 16 has been uploaded. I had the input volume turned up, but hopefully it's not too loud now.

I've amplified section 15 and reuploaded it using the same file name.

Yes, I use Audacity. I'll that this evening and reupload the file. Thanks again.

Thanks Barry! I've started using a new mic with the latest section and was still trying to figure out the volume levels. Section 15 might be a little low on volume, but hopefully better in sound quality.

Thanks for the tips and compliments, everyone. I'll try backing off just slightly and see how it sounds. Your recording was just a little on the weak side as well - try to have the peaks of the waveforms about half the height of the window (I think it's the 6db line in Audacity, if you're using that...

I finally splurged and purchased the AT2020 microphone along with a pop filter, shockmount and boom stand. I'm very pleased so far, to say the least. I thought my old headset (a Logitech Clearchat USB headset) was good, but compared to the AT2020, the quality doesn't even come close. There is so muc...

Congrats! Be prepared to sound very different from the headset. For best results, adjust the height (assuming you can) so that the capsule is about eye-height, and between 6 and 12 inches from your mouth, and 6 inches to one side. I took the plunge yesterday and ordered the AT2020 along with a few accessories. I'll probably finish up my current project with my old mic (a Logitech headset) to keep the sound consistent. But I'm very excited to start using the AT2020.
