Please choose whatever is best for the project, no...

Re: [group] IT CAN BE DONE ! Poems of inspiration by various

I'm taking that to mean you don't need to read the author or the attribution. I've been saying: 'Solitude by Ella Wheeler Wilcox' or similar, and nobody has told me not to. I think I've been a bit confusing. You do need it at the start, but not at the end. Ah, got it. Yes, I was giving the name of ...

A slightly bumpkinish Dr Watkins. Please just ask if you want more gravitas.

Re: [OPEN:PLAY] The Misanthrope by Moliere - thw

Thank you. I wondered whether he should be a bit of a pedantic plodding person failing to appreciate the urgency of his employer. But, if this is acceptable, I'll put effort into my next roles. Re: OPEN [poetry] The Spook Ballads by Wm Theodore Parkes -c

Is it appropriate to ask for feedback on my reading of 28 - 'The Abdicated Crown' ('An Abdicated Crown' in the MW)? For reading humorous/nonsense poetry (both of which I am very partial to) that's the kind of reading I'm aiming at. But, I'd like to hear (honest) opinions of how they sound to other ...

Re: [OPEN:PLAY] The Misanthrope by Moliere - thw

Is it possible to have feedback on my character for Dubois? I tried to make him be someone perpetually on the edge of panic. Does that fit the character? Is the performance a bit over the top or otherwise not best for the role? Note: I'd prefer honest responses to ego-stroking. The former will be mu...
