Re: [CHILD-GRP]English Lit for Boys & Girls - H. E. Marshall - pc

Hello! I re-recorded section 7. I feel like this was a better copy. Here it is: https://librivox.org/uploads/philchenevert/englishlitboysandgirls_07_marshall_128kb.mp3 Kim L. Okay Kim - thanks! Just so you know, in general unless there is a significant issue with the recording, we do not re-record....

Hi Kim -

Please do not re-record! The recording is simple to edit. You need to learn how to do it. Just busy right now but I will write the instructions how to edit in just a couple of hours.

I am so happy you are having fun!

Hi Noel! Sorry I have not gotten back to you on Section 7 - been setting up and running a large Estate sale for my friend and her parents (2 households) and just did not have the time as I have been so exhausted every night and only could eat, sleep and sell! TODAY I will listen to both of them! Lynda

Hi Kim - I know you are new and Cadastra seems to be away right now. I went ahead and listened to your recording as I had time and you seemed to be concerned about it and I do not want you to worry! It is VERY GOOD! I really enjoyed listening to Chapter 7 about Arthur! Your recording of the Non-Engl...

"An preost wes on leoden: lazamon wes ihoten. he wes Leouenaoes: lioe him beo drighte." How would you like m...

Re: [CHILD-GRP]English Lit for Boys & Girls - H. E. Marshall - pc

Hello, may I read section 7 (How the Story of Author was Written in English)? I am a newbie, but I have successfully run the 1-minute test. One question I have, however, is what is the accurate file name to use? I cannot figure that out. As for the name, I would like to use my real name, Kim Lamb. ...

May I please know what does MSS stand for? Looking at the text where I see it first mentioned "The abbots of Jarrow and Wearmouth made journeys to Rome and brought back with them precious MSS. for the monastery libraries." I would presume it means Manuscripts. I could not find any other offerings f...

Re: SOLO The Black Candle - icequeen

Hi Ann - I am doing okay - I had to take some time off due to the deaths of first a friend and then 10 days later, my best friend in Seattle, whose mother I have had to go to court in the USA to be her guardian. So I have been a bit distracted from being able to do long recordings on LV. THEN I was ...

Hi there!

Here is my first reading for this book -

https://librivox.org/uploads/philchenevert/englishlitboysandgirls_80_marshall_128kb.mp3 - 32:56

One question - did you want us to read the book suggestions at the end of the section or not? I did not, but happy to add it in. Let me know!
