Re: [SS-ghosts] The Wind in the Rose-Bush by Freeman -ck

If my landlady is on days I should be recovered enough by the weekend to record it, but only if she has the Sat and Sun shift! It might be best to orphan it as I am so slammed at the moment and still prone to coughing. Sorry :(

Re: FULL [SS-ghosts] The Wind in the Rose-Bush by Freeman -c

Life is getting very much in the way at the moment and so I am delayed in getting to this recording. I don't think I will get to it until Jan when I know I will have the house to myself, so if you want to take me off I understand! If start of Jan is okay then I can still do it!

Re: Short Nonfiction Collection, Vol. 53 - jo

Thanks, MillionMoments! :) That the human epidemic was blamed on what was attacking the pear trees was an interesting aside. Pears, in my experience, are much less inclined to blight than apple trees. I have one tree of each in my yard, neither of which I attend to with any sprays or fungicides. Th...

Re: Short Nonfiction Collection, Vol. 53 - jo

Hi Million Moments, Thanks for these! :) What is Booktube? Hi! Booktube basically refers to people on YouTube who make videos about the books they read. Two people run "Nonfiction November" to try to encourage people to read more Nonfiction, and they set themes every year. Their user name...

Re: Short Nonfiction Collection, Vol. 53 - jo

So there is this thing called Nonfiction November on Booktube, and I decided I would also read four pieces for the nonfiction collection on the themes, which the people who run Nonfiction November let you interpret how you will! I present three of them here, I hope to record the forth tomorrow. On t...
