Re: Fraudulent Copyright Claims on Youtube
This may not necessarily be the most fitting place to say it, but I'd like to take a moment to say thanks to audiobooksunleashed. Not really a big deal but in chapter 7, after it says end of chapter, it repeats a line from earlier in the file: "And then the words seemed to grow louder again".

Sure thing! I'll keep an eye out for these comments and see if I can hunt some of the older ones. Here are two more recent comments, not quite as elaborate but still: For Kevin Green's reading of "The Leavenworth Case by Anna Katharine Green", Anita Kerse wrote: Superb voice to listen to. ...

Re: 'Thank You' messages for LibriVox readers - continued
I sometimes get comments on youtube praising readers but never thought to share them here. However, this one was so nice I felt compelled to forward it to the reader RuthieG (Ruth Golding) . Is there any way to forward it to her? It's for her rendition of Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë. Bertrand ...

Re: Fraudulent Copyright Claims on Youtube
Yea, give them money, that is sure to make them stop. Their activity on Audible is somewhat unethical, but it is legal. That may be why Audible is allowing it, technicaly it isn't fraud. However, the system they use to sell on Audible and the system they use to defend "their" copyrights on...

Re: Fraudulent Copyright Claims on Youtube
Youtube is garbage. I deleted the first upload and restarted the process to avoid being overwhelmed by copyright strikes. I did this because I was sure that I would win the appeal process, I just didn't want the channel to be suspended while I did it. The video was taken down, so I filled a counter-...

I'm no lawyer but surely if your recording is by Andy Minter and theirs is by Stanley Green they are different :) lol... anyway, I'm sure everything will work out. Re: Fraudulent Copyright Claims on Youtube
What they are doing from our point of view is legal , we release everything into the public domain. If I spent my time worrying about all the legal but false claims made by people trying to sell products I wouldn't have time to do things here, I just do my best not to support them financially in an...
