Helen, you spoil us so terribly!!

Thank you for doing that. :9:

I really love it when we get to work on a project like this together. This one's particularly special! Like Nemo, I'm a little sad my bit in it is over.

Thank you so much for going on this ride with us!

All right Larry, over to you. I suspect none of us will quickly forget this little toy of Tennyson's.

And that means Helen gets to hear this in the proper order, hurrah.

Maud, Part 3 (14:44) https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/maud_03_tennyson_128kb.mp3 And Part 4 .... (12:50) https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/maud_04_tennyson_128kb.mp3 (Like so many other LV recordings - not the one I wished to do, but one that is.) (Nemo should have read my sections! He wouldn...

It's really great, Nemo

This crying is for my recordings that have to follow yours. But what a pleasure of a reading. It is an asset to the Tennysonverse. Geez.

Also, the sound is just terrific. Hiring those angels as a noise screen must have paid off. :hmm:

Re: [poetry] Chrysomela by Robert Herrick -ck

Sorry, Larry :(

FWIW, this project is so brief I already did all my sections in one reading!

(Then I threw them away because they were bad readings, but ... they were short.)

Re: OPEN[PLAY]At The Sign Of The Greedy Pig by Charles Brooks - thw

Since there's back to back lines of "Bombastes?" "Bombastes!" -- how are we saying it exactly?

I'm guessing psuedo Italian "bom-bast-ees"?

wow, excellent chorus here. How did you do that ? Simply record it twice and merge or was it a special effect ? In any case, it sounds great. Also, no errors, so perfectly PL ok . Yay, PL OK! Yeah, recorded it twice in two accents and slapped them together. I love these little chances to do somethi...

Re: FULL[PLAY]Impostures of Scapin by Molière - thw

Todd, I am sorry to do this, but would you mind if I orphaned Geronte? I have run through him several times, and his part is hilarious, but I should be close to recording him now and yet I just cannot do a believable Geronte. It's pretty terrible. I learned my limits here and will probably avoid pat...

Re: ~[poetry] Chrysomela by Robert Herrick -ck

Could Nemo and I claim the poems in this book? Alternating, I guess? :hmm: (just the poems, not the preface!) (What do you think, Nemo?)
