Re: [FULL]Poems of American History 5, Period of Expansion-i
I concur with the comments above about wild and unruly phrases. Mercifully I only had to work my way through "sundawn outbloom" only once (but it took 8 tries to get there.) Here is the link to Section 4. I enjoyed this part of the project and look forward to completing Section 5 shortly. ...

Re: [GROUP]Poems of American History 5, Period of Expansion-
Thanks, Ed. I have taught a little law, as well as American and Modern European History. I did have one question....some of the poems have sections that are internally numbered. For instance Joaquin Miller's poem "Rejoice" has sections that contain Roman numerals. The Thomas Bailey Aldrich...

Re: [GROUP]Poems of American History 5, Period of Expansion-
I would be interested in Section 4. (It'll give me some new material to "enrich my students learning experience
"
If Section 5 remains unclaimed (I know someone else is interested-but I do not want to 'run ahead of' anyone, I would be interested in it as well.)
Many thanks

Re: [Group/maritime] Mutiny, Murder and Piracy - lt Ch. 29
Section 29 is here: https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/mutinymurderpiracy_29_anonymous_128kb.mp3 The file length is 4:31.88.
There may be a duplicate file--the first one uploaded ok but did not give me a link in return.
Thanks,
Philip

I noticed several other people on this board from the SF bay area which is where I was born and spent my first 11 years, but I have spent most of my life in Arkansas. My career has mostly been in law and academic teaching, although I have an undergraduate degree in communication which encompasses ma...

Re: [Group/maritime] Mutiny, Murder and Piracy - lt
I am interested in reading Section 29--Wreck of a Slave Ship. This will be my first recording for Librivox. I will review the tips for Newbies and other instructions before I begin. Many thanks.
