Re: Creating varying voices.

I don't want to contradict our lovely Lymiewithapurpose, but sometimes changes in speed of reading for certain characters can be effective. Not too exaggerated of course, but even changes of speed during a speech by one character can have an effect, such as slowing down for suspense, and sometimes s...

Re: Help with a recording problem/audio distortion

I would recommend you put it somewhere warm like an airing cupboard or in a box with a very low powered (5 Watt) lamp bulb to dry it out (but b...

Re: How to say edited

It's all part of language simplification - it is easier to say 2 syllables than 3 and some sounds are easier to make :D Surely it should really be 3 syllables so-see-al ? But them I'm Australian and we shorten all words until they are 1 syllable, then we add -ey or -o to them. Anne See you this arv...

Just to say I agree with you, they do a great job, and one I probably would not want myself. My wife is up to her eyes in admin, and I say to her "why don't you just give up as head of dept and go back to teaching only."

Yes, I thought Kikisaulite might be a new admin! She's doing SO great! But I've always wondered- how do you become an admin? Do you just PM an admin and ask? Don't call us; we'll call you. ;) The admins discuss among themselves who we think would be a good admin, at the times when we think we need ...
