Re: FULL [Dram Read] Story of the Amulet, E. Nesbit-ans

As promised, chapter 10 is ready. Cyril has an "I don't know" at around 30:22 with an inflection that doesn't seem to me to fit the meaning. But I didn't want to ask him to re-record, at least not until you've had a listen. There is also a Cyril "I don't know" in chapter 12 that I've thought I might...

No need to add the song file into the MW, Beth. I already have it downloaded.

Re: FULL [Dram Read] Story of the Amulet, E. Nesbit-ans

Wonderful! Thank you so much!

Wow, I think if I'm not mistaken, that means that we're fully recorded.

I'm taking a break from Mikado and working on chapter 10 at the moment. I'll have it uploaded in an hour, at the most.

Re: FULL [PLAY] The Mikado by W.S.Gilbert- annise

I seem to be missing a narrator line for act 1: "Enter Yum-Yum, Peep-Bo, and Pitti-Sing."

A separate file for this will be fine.

Re: [DR- FULL] The Voyages of Doctor Dolittle - tg

Also, looking ahead a bit... This January, the next Dolittle book, Doctor Dolittle's Post Office, enters PD in the US. I doubt this DR will be finished by then (though it's possible), but I do plan to do a DR of the next one as well.

May I take the chief then? :)
Oh, certainly! Thank you! :D

That was quick. This makes us full!

Once I'm finished editing for Mikado and Amulet, I'll start checking up on some of our older claims.

Re: FULL [Dram Read] Story of the Amulet, E. Nesbit-ans

I do hear the rattle you're talking about, and I don't have any way to clean it out. (The rest of the background noise I can clean out, no problem.) However, that rattling isn't really noticeable when combined with the other two voices, I think. I do need to ask, though, Ashur, did you listen along ...

This may sound crazy, but I think everyone should dip their feet in a stream and have the craw-daddies come up and tickle your toes.

 Dipping my feet in a stream, absolutely! Having things tickle them... :| I'll pass, thanks. :?

Re: [Dramatic Read] The Voyages of Doctor Dolittle - tg

Thanks so much! Actually, I had originally scripted the Bag-jagderag chief line to be spoken by Popsipetel 2, but on further consideration decided to split them. I'd rather not combine them again now. The Bag-jagderags and Popsipetels are, at this time in the story, warring clans, so a clear separat...

Re: Play Suggestions

I'm going to take a look at some of her other plays when I get a chance. There's one with quite an intriguing title that I'd like to look at: "The Wonder: A Woman Keeps a Secret."

Re: Play Suggestions

The Busie Body by Susanna Centlivre (1667-1723) http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/16740 I haven't read much in this yet, but it sounds like fun. Described as a "laughing comedy," the story seems to center around one Marplot, who generally ruins whatever he undertakes. Sounds kind of like The Blunderer...

Chapter 10 is recorded. I'll get to editing it... well, sooner or later. In the meantime, though, I'll read chapter 5, too.
